Highly Qualified Faculty & Staff
- Over 50 years of combined teaching experience of the Artistic Directors
- Dr. Vincent Phelan and Mrs. Elizabeth Council-Phelan have both received the “Studio Teacher of the Year” award from the Ohio String Teachers Association in 2015 and 2020 respectively.
- Artistic Directors have taught at numerous Suzuki Institutes and workshops, and guest lecture for other Suzuki programs in Greater Cincinnati
- All faculty are graduates of the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with masters or doctorate degrees
Specialized Programs for All Ages
- Early Childhood Education class for newborns to 4 year-olds. CSP is the first to offer this program in the Cincinnati area!
- TEEN STRINGS – a program specifically for teenage students, including a winter tour, fall retreat, teen socials, and leadership experience
Saturday Ensemble and Music Theory Program
- Multilevel Music Theory Program for all ages
- Multi-Part Ensembles that teach students collaborative and advanced reading skills
- Suzuki Technique Classes to enforce concepts learned in private lessons
A Music Community of Learning
- A high level of individual attention as part of a small program with high performance standards
- CSP students and families create a support network together in a nurturing environment, fostering a lifetime of love and enjoyment of music
Extensive Performance Opportunities and Community Service
- 3-6 Community Outreach Performances a year at area community arts events, nursing homes, schools, charity galas, and more
- 3 Solo Recitals each year – developing a high level of performance skill in students with professional accompanists
- Book Recitals – held each summer by individual students graduating in book levels, performed in retirement centers, churches and libraries
